The Optimum 24 Hour Plug In Time Switch is a captive-tappet 24-hour plug-in time switch. Each tappet operates for 15 minutes and the timer is suitable for use in BS1363 (standard UK 3 pin) sockets.

The 24 hour dial controls the output to a BS1363 compliant shuttered socket and has a resitive rating of 13 amperes.

Instructions

The outer dial should be set to the current time. Rotate the dial slowly in a clockwise direction, until the correct hour is aligned with the arrow printed on the dial. Note that the outer dial is printed with the 24 hour Clock 8:00a.m. is 8 on the dial. 8:00p.m. is 20 on the dial.

To programme switching times: Set all tappets between the on and off times required, to the outer edge of the dial e.g. to set ON at 7:00 a.m. – OFF at 3:00 p.m., push tappets between dial numbers 7 and 15 to outer edge of dial. Set any other required switching times in a similar manner.

N.B. Do not attempt to rotate the dial in an anti-clockwise direction as this will damage the product.

The Hero 8 way contactor is suitable for controlling up to 8 x 600watt or 4 x 1000watt lights.  The unit also comes with 2 additional sockets capable of controlling 2 seperate heaters up to a maximum 2.5kw load that will come on when your lights go off. The unit has a Grasslin timer incorporating a backup internal battery.  It also comes with the safety feature of a circuit breaker that will trip if overpowered or becoming too hot. The 24/28 Way Double Contactor Board with Connector Grow Light Socket Timer is specially designed to give growers greater control over their lighting and environment.

This board has 4 'always on' sockets for fans, heaters or other hydroponic equipment.  It has a 40amp breaker fuse and a quality 24 hour timer.

It is recommended that the board be fitted by a qualified electrician.

This board has the capability of running either 24 x 600 watt or 12 x 1000 watt ballasts as each socket can handle 660 watt of power.

There are 8 sockets always powered making them ideal when using fans, hydroponics systems, heaters, humidifiers and dehumidifiers.  Each socket label gives you clear details so you don't overload the board.

The board has a robust timer with an 80amp contactor to ensure safe lighting schedules.
