The Standard Brain uses 13mm fittings(16mm external) and has a timer mounted on the brain. The timer features 15 minute intervals that can be adjusted from just one flooding per day for really absorbant media or multiple floodings for high drainage media such as clay pebbles.
There are 2 internal float switches that control the flood height.
