Product Description
The Origin is an active hydro version of a drip irrigation system. Plants benefit from the accurate feeding of active hydroponics, combined with the flexibility of growing in pots.
Pots are placed on a tray above a nutrient solution tank. Plants and drippers are placed in the pots with the chosen growing medium – clay, coco, soil or rockwool. Set the irrigation frequency with a timer, which triggers the drippers to automatically feed the plants.
The nutrient solution works its way through the medium and over the roots of the plants, draining into the catchment tank and drawing oxygen into the root zone.
The Origin offers the flexibility to be used as an irrigation system with a tank to catch run off or as a fully re-circulating hydro system.

The Neoprene Collar is used with our 16 and 32 site Amazon Aeroponic Systems and our range of Aeroponic Propagators, though they can also be used with any other suitable system with a top tray that accommodates 50mm net pots. The collar fits perfectly inside the rim of the 50mm net pot and acts as a support for the stems of plants or cuttings, while also sealing off the system to prevent light from penetrating the top tray and damaging root systems.

All kits come complete with:-  your choice of 20L/40L/60L Tank, Top Tray, Correx Cover, MC320 Oxy Pump, Delivery Tube, PH Test Kit, 25 Foot Spreader Mat.

Nutrient solution is constantly pumped up from the reservoir to the roots in the planting channel and flows back into the reservoir ready to be passed over the roots again.
